Audioroot eSMART Trio Smart Battery Power Distribution System First Look

A first look at the new eSMART Trio Smart Battery Power Distribution System from Audioroot.

The Trio has a TA4 output that can deliver 5 amps continuous, suitable for powering high consumption devices such as a Sound Devices 8-Series Mixer-Recorder.

Launching at $495USD, the Trio is about twice the cost of the Deity SPD-1 I previously reviewed and have been using. But the design makes it a better overall solution for my Scorpio bag, and for me at least, is likely the last battery distributor I will need.
