This past week I did a presentation on a broad history of slavery around the world. I am tired of hearing about African slavery in America, confining all of slavery to Europeans and excusing others groups.

Slavery is an economic system that relies on the labor of people against their will. Cultures have been enslaving other cultures since the beginning of human civilization starting with the Mesopotamians and continuing through to today.

This presentation takes a look at slavery throughout some of China's dynasties, the Trans-Saharan Slave Trade, the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, European Slaves, the Irish Slave Trade, and who ended slavery when.
