Homemade Air Compressor | Air Compressor Made From PVC!

Hello Everyone!

This video is about a homemade air compressor. It's made out of pvc pipes, which are first being cut and converted into flat sheets
by heating with a butane torch. This sheets are then being cut into required dimensions for making the structure which includes the motor and the cylinder support and the cylinder itself.

For making piston, we used an epoxy putty (m-seal). The connecting rod made out of copper shaft and is soldered to the brass bearings, which acts as linkages.

As for the gears, they are taken out from old table fan. To make the crank a 3mm rod is attached to the gear, and is responsible for the reciprocating action of the piston.

For the value system we used small peices of balloon and works well for this compressor.
The motor is 12v dc , but it was required to operate it with higher voltage (19v), as it was not producing enough power at 12v.

So, this was all about how it was made.
