O my Almighty Lord, who created the heavens and the earth in a unique order, who hears even the deepest hidden whispers in the hearts, whose mercy has surpassed His wrath, the Most Merciful of the merciful! To You belongs endless praise and glorification, worthy of the majesty of Your essence and the greatness of Your power. My existence, my breath, everything I possess is a manifestation of Your grace. May infinite peace and blessings be upon the sun of the universe, the sultan of hearts, our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him), whom You sent as a mercy to the worlds, upon his pure household (Ahl al-Bayt), and upon his companions who are like stars illuminating our path.

O Allah! I am Your helpless, poor, sinful, and flawed servant. I lay bare my helplessness, my poverty, and my repentance before You, and I come to the threshold of Your forgiveness and pardon to seek refuge. I was deceived by the glittering adornments of the world, I succumbed to the endless desires of my own self (nafs), and I strayed onto the paths that Satan made seem appealing. For every sin my eyes have seen, my tongue has spoken, my hands have touched, and my feet have walked towards, I repent a thousand times over and ask for Your forgiveness. I have come to Your door with the hope of knowing that Your mercy is greater and more encompassing than all my sins. You are "At-Tawwab," the Acceptor of Repentance. Please, accept the repentance of this sinful servant as well. Cleanse me from the filth of sins, and purify my heart from hypocrisy, envy, arrogance, and ostentation.

O my All-Powerful Lord! I have grown weary, I have been hurt, and I have stumbled in the face of life's trials. At times my patience ran out, and at times my hope diminished. But I know that there is no other refuge, no other support but You. Grant me a share of the patience of Prophet Ayyub (Job), so that in the most difficult moments, not rebellion but gratitude may pour from my tongue. It is You alone who will mend the brokenness in my heart and calm the storms in my soul. Send down upon my heart such tranquility (sakinah) and relief that even the heaviest burdens of the world may feel light in the presence of that peace.

O Lord! Take me, my mother, my father, my spouse, my children, my siblings, the generations to come from my lineage, and all my believing brothers and sisters under Your protection. Protect us from all kinds of accidents, calamities, misfortunes, illnesses, strife (fitnah), and evil—seen and unseen, known and unknown—from the oppression of the oppressor, from the envy of the envier, and from the evil of Satan and devilish people. Grant peace to our homes, lawful and blessed abundance to our sustenance, and health and well-being to our bodies. Do not make us dependent on anyone, and do not let us ask from anyone other than You.

O Allah! Grant us such faith that our hearts may find tranquility in it. Grant us such knowledge that we may draw closer to You with it. Bestow upon us a life of understanding and living by the Qur'an, and of adorning ourselves with its morals. At our last breath, grant us the ability to depart from this fleeting world with faith, with the Declaration of Faith (Kalima-i Shahadah) on our tongues. Grant us the ability to answer the questions of Munkar and Nakir in the grave with ease, make our graves a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and protect us from the torment of the grave. On that terrifying Day of Gathering, make our reckoning easy and grant us our book of deeds in our right hand. Make us among those who gather under the Banner of Praise (Liwa al-Hamd) of our Beloved Prophet. Grant us the ability to cross the Sirat bridge with the speed of lightning and to be neighbors with our loved ones in Jannat al-Firdaws (the highest Paradise). And honor us with Your greatest favor, Your most sublime blessing: the vision of Your Divine Countenance (Jamal).

You are the Hearer of prayers, the One who answers requests. Do not turn away the hands of this helpless, needy servant empty, O Allah.
