BURGLARY COMMITTED BY NEIGHBOR TO STEAL LICENCED WEAPONS, ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF PS VASANT VIHAR UNDER #OPERATIONSATARK.

One Stolen Revolver and one stolen Gun (Both Licenced) recovered.
Receiver of stolen items also arrested.
One button actuated knife also recovered.
With their arrest two cases of Burglary and Arms Act have been worked out.


INTRODUCTION:-

A dedicated team of PS Vasant Vihar arrested three desperate criminals namely 1. Tarun R/o Basant Gaon, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, age 22 years 2. Vicky R/o Kusumpur Pahari, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, age 22 years and 3. Harish @ Kanti R/o Kusumpur Pahari, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, age 34 years. One stolen Revolver, one stolen Gun and one button actuated knife were recovered from their possession.


INCIDENT, TEAM AND OPERATION:-


On 10.02.2022, A PCR call of house theft received at the PS Vasant Vihar from complainant namely Sh. Dharambir Singh R/o Basant Gaon, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. He stated that when he was in his native village in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, his brother came to his house in Delhi and informed the complainant that theft had taken place in his house. He came to his house and found that one LPG gas cylinder, one Revolver, one Gun (Both Licenced), one gold chain, one pair of Ear Rings had been stolen. He called the police and on his statement a case vide FIR No 75/2022 u/s 380 IPC PS Vasant Vihar was registered, immediately.

Sensing the gravity of the incident a dedicated team of PS Vasant Vihar comprising of ASI Harbans Lal, HC Sanjeev, Ct Mukesh and Ct Ramresh under the leadership of Sh. K.P Shah, SHO/Vasant Vihar and guidance of Sh. Rakesh Dixit ACP/Sub Div. Vasant Vihar, SWD was constituted to nab the culprits.

The team worked relentlessly upon the case, analysed CCTV footages of the nearby places and developed local intelligence. Dedicated efforts of the team bore fruits when with the help of local intelligence, one accused Tarun was arrested on 10.03.2022 from Kusumpur Pahari. One button actuated knife was recovered from his possession, so a case vide FIR No 97/22 dated 10.03.2022 u/s 25 Arms Act was registered. On sustained interrogation, the accused Tarun confessed that he along with his friend namely Satbir committed the house theft. He further disclosed that they sold the stolen Revolver and Gun to one Vicky who resides in Kusumpur Pahari for a sum of Rs 1500. On instance of the accused Tarun, accused Vicky was arrested and the stolen gun was recovered. Accused Vicky further disclosed that he sold the revolver to one Harish @ Kanti who resides in Kusumpur Pahari for a sum of Rs 52000. On instance of the accused Vicky, accused Harish was arrested and the stolen Revolver was recovered. Regarding stolen jewellery, accused Tarun disclosed that his co-accused Satbir kept the jewellery and assured him to pay half money after selling the same. Search of the accused Satbir is underway to affect more recovery.

Harish @ Kanti R/o Kusumpur Pahari, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, age 34 years. He has previous involvements in 05 criminal cases.

Further investigation of the case is under process and efforts are being made to arrest the absconding accused and affect more recovery.
