Today I got new video from Dockeeping. And I must warn you that this time it's very, very sad. Amazing but very tragic. It really brought tears to my eyes... :-( Please, read this message from Doc before watching:
Three apologizes and one promise
Why this strange start? I will explain to you now...
The apologize for the delay:
My first apologize is for the delay I have between the releasing of my videos. Due to a lack of a time and maybe inspirations and good occasions I gave to you in this year only five videos. Too little, I know. The problem is that I never made a video on some demand, but only when I felt it. Felt it inside of me. And you have to trust me that I always gave everything to each of them. And this one is not an exception.
But the birth of it was not so easy and this will be my next apologize.
The apologize for the quality:
Yes, the greatest problem I had.
The song I used in this video, "Don't Want To Lose You" by Julie Thiel, is very special and very rare, because (as I know) it was used ONLY in two movies, The Duke (1999) and Chestnut: Hero of Central Park (2004). No movie soundtracks were released so I couldn't get the original version of the song.
I had only a DVD The Duke with 2.0 sound in two languages and DVD Chestnut.
Sadly, the song is always used in the middle of the movie so the movie tracks are full of other sounds, noises and voices...
I wanted to make some video with this song for a very long time, but I never had the courage to try to get it from the movies. And I thought it is not possible. I was still hoping that they will release the song as a single. But this time did not come. So I had to do it for myself...
So, my biggest challenge was not the extracting the song from the movies. I could easily get the track, but the cleaning was nearly impossible...
I did my best, removing every sound, scratch, word, noise etc., using many tools of my sound editing software, including spectrum display and channels extractors, noise removers and equalizers. I even combined tracks from both movies. It took me many hours and hundreds of editing and changes.
I'm not any sound expert and I know that somebody else could do this job much better, but this is the best that I could do. Far from perfect, but the best I have.
So I apologize for the quality of the song sound, but I hope you will forgive me.
And also I hope you will forgive me for the last thing - for the sad story I'm going to tell you by this video.
The apologize for the emotions:
If you know the song, from the movies or from some videos here, you have to agree with me, that it's very, very sad. In the movies they used it for the saddest moments when somebody is losing someone dear. And this video is not different...
The story it's telling is very simple and very tragic.
Black Beauty is losing his beloved Ginger. He can do nothing for her, only mourning. He is alone; everyone he has known is gone... Nobody can ease his pain.
The deepest emotions from his heart and short glimpses of memories of the past are expressed through the song. The moments that must be never forgotten... Because sometimes the memories are the only thing we have...
And this is my third apologize, because I can't tell you "Enjoy it", but only "Feel it, feel it in your heart..."
NOTE: Originally, this video had to be very simple, like the story. But due to the complexity and the depth of the emotions it soon became one of my most elaborate works, with hundreds of edits and effects... Not all of them are evident but I wanted to make it as smooth as possible...
Oh, and the promise! Yes, here it is: I promise you that my next video will be much more happier, maybe I could say almost funny -- to compensate the sadness I brought to you today...

Black Beauty - Don't Want To Lose You
Performed by Julie Thiel
Music and Lyrics by Brahm Wenger
Lyrics:
Don't see any rainbow
All I see is raindrops falling
Don't see any moonlight
All I see is darkness falling
I don't wanna be here
And I don't want a lifetime here without you
Don't hear any children
All I hear is mothers calling
Suddenly the silence
Everything is slowly falling
I don't wanna be here
And I don't want a lifetime here without you
I can't stand to watch you go
Isn't there a prayer we all know?
I can't bear to look into your eyes now
I don't want to lose you
And I don't want to lose you now
I can't stand to watch you go
Isn't there a prayer we all know?
I can't bear to look into your eyes now
I don't want to lose you now
Don't see any rainbow
All I see is raindrops falling
I don't want to lose you now...
