It's autumn, the nights are dark and (probably too late if you are anything like us) now you are realising that lights are needed

The Brompton battery light is good in that it works as a light AND a rear reflector, but uses "throw away" batteries - you could of course use rechargeable changeable ones - but we have broken the light a few times trying to change them, and the cover is not the easiest to remove / refit (yes - we know it's just a cross head screwdriver!)

This rear light from Bush and Muller (or more correctly if you have the keys on your keyboard Bush and Müller) is USB rechargeable and has a built in reflector

A bracket is mounted to the bike (this can mount to a 50mm or 80mm fitting)

Bromptons use a 50mm fitting for both rack and caliper mounted reflectors and rear lights - which makes this light easy to fit

It is secured with two nuts and two serrated washers

The only tool required is an 8mm spanner

Once installed the light snaps (not too) easily off and onto the bike

It has two modes - on and off

The light doesn't interfere with the fold - and looks good
