As much as I wish I could save every kangaroo in the world, living in a wildlife shelter has taught me something deeper.
It’s like being on a sinking boat, you can keep taking water out, but unless we patch the hole, the suffering never stops.

That’s why I made this video: to share simple, practical steps anyone can take to protect wildlife and reduce the number of orphaned animals arriving every day.

💡 How to help:
• Slow down on the roads, especially at dawn and dusk.
• Check a kangaroo’s pouch.
• Move animals away from the road to prevent scavenger deaths.
• Don’t try to raise wildlife yourself, take them to a licensed carer.
• Share this message so more people know how to act with care.

This video was inspired by my article in the Yackandandah Newspaper, written to honour the work of Kangaloola Wildlife Shelter and the volunteers who give their hearts every day.
