Another failure on my part. Monster Bash, a 1993 Apogee side-scroller with a spooky theme, lets you take the role of pajama-clad Johnny Dash in his quest to rescue not only his pet, but all the pets captured by the evil count. In order to complete a level, you must free all the pets, then find the exit!

...And that's where I fail. The game does let you know the general direction of the nearest pet, but if the path isn't clear - and in this game it often isn't - I am not able to make my way to them. On top of that, the exits are not always clearly marked. This is a very busy game, making it difficult to tell what is background and what isn't. And, well, I am simply not good at this genre. So, I tried to record a bit of a demonstration, and while I wanted to play more, unfortunately had to cut it short to leave early today.

Add to that XSplit not wanting to update the frame if there's no movement in the image - yet still grabbing the wrong frame as its final frame - and I am not able to properly show off some things in this game. That is very frustrating to me.
