One person was killed in Ballari after clashes erupted between supporters of Gangavathi MLA Gali Janardhan Reddy and Ballari MLA Nara Bharath Reddy over the installation of a Valmiki statue banner. Police confirmed that the bullet that hit the victim came from a private weapon, not from police firearms. Over 1,000 officers were deployed to control the situation as tensions remain high.
