STORYLINE:
The Iranian ambassador to Budapest called the Iran war a "betrayal of diplomacy” Thursday in the Hungarian capital.

Talking to journalists, Morteza Moradian described Iran’s defense as a "legitimate, courageous and heroic act.”

The ambassador added that throughout history the Iranians have demonstrated that "they do not give in to aggression and foreign domination."

Plumes of smoke were seen rising across various parts of Tehran on Thursday morning as U.S.-Israeli airstrikes continued to pound the Iranian capital.

As the Iran war enters a sixth day, Iran launched more missiles at Israel and U.S. bases in the Middle East.

Tehran has warned of the destruction of the Middle East’s military and economic infrastructure, and the war has rattled financial markets, with most taking their cues from what the price of oil is doing.

The Red Crescent Society of Iran said the U.S.-Israeli airstrike campaign targeting Iran has struck 174 cities in the country.
