Welcome to my first video on EVE Frontier! This is a quick guide going over the basics of EVE Frontier for new and returning players, as a lot has changed in the most recent alpha build and it's pretty much like a new whole new game right now.

Want to know how to get started in EVE Frontier? Want to build your first ship and get out of the starter solar system? This video shows you how the game and its new systems work in action, and how to navigate with the new tactical camera view and solar system overview.

This most recent alpha build changed the game a lot, and this should help new and returning players get familiar with the basics. I hope this helps some of you out there.

EVE Frontier is an upcoming hardcore space survival MMO from CCP Games (the creators of EVE Online), currently in Founder Access for PC and Mac.

Survival in a shattered galaxy

You awaken as one of the last remnants of humanity—an amnesiac “Rider” cast into a fractured universe, overrun by feral drones, hostile AI, and merciless environments

Massive sandbox with player-built world

Featuring a single-shard world spanning ~24,000 star systems, the game offers deep exploration, base-building, crafting, resource-gathering, and tactical ship combat

Smart Assemblies & modding via blockchain tech

Players construct programmable space structures—defenses, trading hubs, mission generators—using a modding platform underpinned by blockchain (e.g. Ethereum), which enables community-created systems and private currencies

Economy with real-world integration

Dual-currency system

Includes a standard in-game currency (LUX) and an on-chain token ($EVE) that can be traded outside the game, supporting player-driven markets and full item ownership

Founder Access: New Era

As of June 11, 2025, CCP opened up public sharing of gameplay under no restrictions, introduced “Cycles” seasonal progression, and launched the next major Founder Access update
