Review: ProCase for iPad Air 4 - £12 Budget Case for All Round Protection

This is a quick review of the ProCase, Slim Stand Hard Back Shell Smart Cover, which is designed specifically for the iPad Air 4. It's certainly not a lightweight option, which is a real shame, since I was really hoping for something that would match the Smart Cover on my Air 2 for portability.

The case is good, especially for the price compared to the Smart Folio, however the weight advertised in the specs (which say 140g) is totally wrong.. it’s about 100g heaver at 240g (according to my kitchen scales). So if you want a really light case, this isn’t it unfortunately.

Also, the magnet that holds the case in the stand position isn’t super strong, and you need to make sure it’s properly positioned.. it’s more picky than my old Smart Cover for the Air 2.

Update: Due to the weight in the listing being totally wrong, I'm actually sending this back today. It's still worth considering if you want all-round protection for your iPad Air 4. The weight is actually quite similar to other folio-like cases by Moko & others. Apple's Smart Folio is the lightest I've found so far.. at ~180g - it's just at a price that's hard to stomach! ;)
