As we gear up for the trek down memory lane and the review of the 1975-1976 television season of fifty years ago, we are taking some time this month to also share some recent broadcast networks' promo-commercials for the upcoming fall season of 2025.

We've summarized the CBS, NBC and ABC promos, and tonight we take a look at FOX television and two of their sophomore returning series: Murder in a Small Town, and Doc.

Murder in a Small Town has an interesting pedigree... filmed in Canada, it is being broadcast in both Canada and the US/Fox simultaneously. The series stars a familiar actress to US television audiences: Kristin Kreuk, who starred in the 2000's hit series Smallville on the WB network, and then The CW network hit Beauty and the Beast, from 2012 to 2016.

Doc is also entering its second season, having been a mid-season entry in January. The series is about a successful doctor who has forgotten the previous years of her life after an auto accident. The series stars Molly Parker, who has had a variety of roles in ground-breaking television series over the years. She starred on the HBO western series Deadwood back in the mid-2000s, and then co-starred on the first hit series on Netflix, House of Cards, in 2014.

For Lost in Space fans, Netflix produced a remake of the vintage classic television series a few years ago, and Ms. Parker played the role of mom Maureen Robinson in that remake.
