Orangutan babies Jim and Joe had a wrestle when Joe's mum, Sprout, came along and grabbed Jim by his arm, dragging him through the grass and around to the other side. Joe tried to hold on to him but eventually let loose. Jim made a run for it at the first chance he got. Jazz was sitting facing the other way by the moat and didn't see what was happening.

As some of you know, Jazz is the mum to Jim and the grandma/surrogate mother to Joe. She has brought up Joe from birth and is still looking after both the babies, nursing them and taking care of them.

Jim and Joe followed Jazz to the new area of their habitat. Once I caught up with them, Sprout had also joined the three. Jim stopped in front of Sprout, so Sprout put her arm around him. Jim tried to get away again, but Sprout was having none of it. She pulled him close, in front of him, spreading his legs apart. When Jim got up, something spooked Sprout, which made her jump and Jim sought comfort from her. Afterwards, Jim then made his way to his mum, Jazz, and cuddled into his mum. You can see Sprout still looking for comfort from her mum as well as she touches Jazz's arm, but Jazz had enough on her plate and bit Sprout's hand then moved backward with Jim in her arm. Joe was playing at the other end but then ran to Jazz. She turned around so Joe could be near her as well.
