Each year something special happens in Sheffield. A ensemble of synth manufactures gather showing off the latest technology.
In this video I to share my experience of visiting this convention.
I really enjoy the talks - and there are so many venders - this event could run for more than one day.

‪@KorgOfficial‬ I really enjoyed getting my hands on a microkorg 2! The original microkorg is by far my favourite synth and where I cut my teeth learning the instrument. I would really like to get more time with the microkorg 2.

‪@YamahaMusicEurope‬ Yamaha are one of my favourite brands - they consistently create amazing products. After having restored a dx7 synth this year I really happy to see Yamaha showing off a dx7 - but not any dx7 it was Tony Banks dx7! The cp73 and yc73 are highlights of the show for me.

‪@somasynths‬ I really enjoy the creativity that goes into the design of the soma range. They pull you away from a familiar place and force you to relearn and be creative.

‪@rolandglobal‬ Roland are creating some really good modern/vintage synths, the Jupiter x and Juno x sound so big and it was great to get hands on with them.

‪@rhodesmusic‬ As always its great to see and play the mk8 Rhodes. On display was a MK8 prototype - this has been signed by a range of people - who can you see on this? It was also great talking to the team and hearing about some of the future plans....though I cant say any more on that here.

Build your own modular - I really like DIY projects and this book seems to give you everything you need to build your own modular synth.
