Hiking the Jatbula Trail in Northern Territory as a solo female hiker

Описание к видео Hiking the Jatbula Trail in Northern Territory as a solo female hiker

This video documents my 5-day journey along the iconic Jatbula Trail in Nitmiluk National Park. The incredible 62km long trek through a remote part of the Northern Territory’s Top End is one of the most sought-after hikes in Australia.

I was lucky enough to score a last-minute permit late in the hiking season. It’s notorious for unbearably hot conditions and I faced temperatures in the high 30s and low 40s for the five days.

While it was certainly hot, the incredible landscape of the Top End was on full display with spectacular natural plunge pools and swimming holes to cool off all afternoon.

This Jatbula Trail vlog shows my personal experience out on the trail as a solo hiker in mid-September 2021.
