In this cardmaking tutorial, I’m sharing several creative ways to use leftover cardstock and Designer Series Paper scraps to create beautiful handmade cards—without overthinking it.

I’ll walk you through one card step-by-step using simple scrap strips layered onto Basic White cardstock, then die cut and embossed for added texture. After that, I’ll show you several additional card ideas using the same concept but different scraps, colors, and tools—including masculine cards, birthday cards, and everyday “just because” cards.
