Well over a year ago I made a video on getting an Amiga 500 online with a Raspberry Pi. It works well but its slow and needs some configuration on both devices, as well as there is quite a bit of cable management to deal with :)

Well there is a newer and better solution, and thats by using a Plipbox.

Plipbox is an Arduino-based device that allows to connect low-end classic Amigas via Ethernet to your local network. It bridges IP traffic received via PLIP on the parallel port of the Amiga to the Ethernet port attached to the Arduino

In this video i show the hardware as well as configure it on my Amiga 500 setup and do a little bit of testing.

It's a great solution and definetly well worth looking into. I recommend this over the Raspberry Pi solution.
