USAF F-22 Raptor Demo with Flares! 2024 NAS Oceana Air Show

Описание к видео USAF F-22 Raptor Demo with Flares! 2024 NAS Oceana Air Show

The F-22 Raptor Demo Team brings the FLARES at the 2024 NAS Oceana Air Show. Shot on Saturday, September 21.

The F-22A Raptor is the most feared airplane in the world. It boasts a maneuverability demonstration that no other combat ready aircraft in the world can replicate. The demonstration pilot for the 2023 and 2024 seasons is Captain Samuel "RaZZ" Larson. For 2024, Razz has added a Power Loop before the High Alpha Pass. There were a few omissions from this routine: no climb on takeoff and no loaded roll. However, he added something at the end I've never seen before: a show center J turn! I want to thank RaZZ and the rest of the F-22 Demo Team for their commitment to showmanship and their creativity. The rest of the US demos are painfully scripted, and seeing him improvise to create new one off maneuvers is awesome.

During several maneuvers, the Raptor dumped flares and carved through the smoke they left behind. Flares are becoming a common occurrence for the F-22, and hopefully, this trend will continue into 2025 and beyond.

The weather was perfect with few clouds and a ton of vapor. I didn't capture everything I had hoped due to Michael Goulian performing, but still got some of my best footage I have ever captured.

Enjoy! :)
