I started this shiny hunt on November 15, 2019. Finally, after 8,734 encounters, I got the beautiful shiny pokemon in Pokemon Sword. I did this hunt before beating the first gym in hopes to get my dream team with a shiny badge quest. Now I can go against the first gym! Thank you for watching!
