Today in our series on Living in Austin, I'm going to discuss the Forest Creek neighborhood in the Austin suburb of Round Rock.

Forest Creek is primarily a golf course community. Forest Creek is a more established neighborhood established circa 1994. Most of the homes there are high-end stately homes. Homes there are larger and generally between 2400-4000 square feet. Homes there go for high 300k and above. Because it's located in Round Rock, you can get a lot of house for the price.

Forest Creek is a calm family-friendly neighborhood. Parents feel safe letting their kids play in the neighborhood without much supervision. Most of the people in the neighborhood know each other and it has a great community feel.

Forest Creek has quick access to many major roads in Round Rock for a quick commute to the city of Austin. It's also just minutes away from downtown Round Rock. Forest Creek has many great amenities like walking trails, parks, and a golf course.
