Marathon stator Generator rewinding,Again the same cause of failure to the winding,Rotor rubs into the lamination,it’s because lack of maintenance the periodic maintenance is important to be done to avoid mechanical failure and it lead to destroy the winding and other parts of the generator.
Before rewinding check the lamination by coreloss test and it seems a bit of hot spot but our slot liner is good until 150 degrees C so call it good to rewind.
