Today, we're shifting into high gear with the Two Stroke from Orange Amps. Every effects rig needs an EQ, and the Two Stroke provides the parametric juice to get the rest of the chain running on all cylinders. Dual independent parametric frequency bands are subject to boosting and cutting by 18dB, with a range that is fine tuned just for your guitar. The low knob controls the bandwidth from 120 to 1.2kHz, while the high mids knob affects the bandwidth between 850Hz and 8.5kHz, ensuring that you stay present in the mix at all times. The centralized Oil control puts its foot on your amp's gas and injects a musical 12dB of clean boost, effectively adding another, more refined channel to your amplifier. Because of the extensive EQ controls, the boost be dialed in for tonal transparency or a whole new sonic profile for different pickups and amps. The Two Stroke accepts up to 12 volts on the outside, but the inside doubles the voltage for supreme headroom. This handy boost allows you to place the Two Stroke in the effects loop, which is normally off-limits for anything but modulation and delay.
