Various shots of Concorde 001 plane being pushed out of its hangar and into position on the tarmac before its first test flight. Shot of press watching from a distance. Heat comes out of the rear engines while the ground crew do last checks.



Concorde moves slowly off over the tarmac. Shots of pilots Andre Turcat and Jacques Guignard and their crew on board going through pre-flight check. Turcat moves a lever in the cockpit. Great shots of Concorde gathering speed and taking off on first flight - exciting!



Several shots of Concorde in flight. Shot of control tower at Toulouse as technicians wait for news from Turcat on how the flight is going. Ground crew look to the skies and shield their eyes. Concorde comes back in to land after a successful test flight and a parachute comes out of the back of the plane. It taxis to a standstill.



The pilots and crew come down the steps of the plane. Cameramen are waiting to film him. Heads of the French Sud Aviation and British Aircraft Corporation - companies involved in making of Concorde - greet the pilots on the tarmac. Interior shot of pilots attending a press conference. Final shot shows Concorde on the tarmac.
