Glasgow Underground boss Kevin McKay has dropped this very sweet edit of Prince's 'Controversy' to our delight and it's available for free, bonus!

To celebrate the life of the great 'Purple One' on the fourth anniversary of his untimely death, Glasgow Underground head honcho Kevin McKay continues to flex his remix muscles by bringing us a very nice remix/edit of the 1981 anthem 'Controversy'.

Now to date Late Nite Tuff Guy's 'Do I Believe In God' is probably the most favoured of a bunch of edit/remixes of the track, and we would probably still agree, but this Kevin McKay remix is right up there in the mixer. Probably more 'DJ Friendly' the remix is a solid 4/4 groove underpinned by a lopping warm bass line and of course all the funkiness of the original track including the full chorus richness. This will definitely do damage on dance floors and if anything for free it's a welcome addition to any DJ's collection looking for a bit of a end of night anthem to close with.
