After a cooler than average summer in London I show how my palms and other exotics have grown in late September of 2024. After my tallest palm, a Washingtonia Robusta, died during a previous harsh winter I decided to keep the trunk and hollow out the top to plant a small tree fern inside it to give an illusion of it still being alive. Nearby I planted a smaller Washy as a replacement. In spring I planted a tree fern, Dicksonia Antarctica, beside at post next to the dead Washy. All the plants have done quite well as you can see...
