Published on 24-01-2018. RAJABASA is a Dimasa-Assamese Folk Fusion single music video performed by Rajlaxmi meets Jambili. The video is conceptualized by using local ethnic instruments and local Dimasa environment. We have translated one stanza into Assamese for better understanding to the people of Assam. We have fused the Dimasa traditional music instruments with electronic elements.
RAJABASA means the Prince. The Prince is coming and all the beautiful unmarried women were coming with beautiful traditional attire to see the Prince. These beautiful women were compared with Hornbill birds searching for fruits.
