Trimmed and tweaked documentary on the life and death of much-loved British Comedian Benny Hill.

The archive quality and sound is a little poor at the beginning but it improves in the second half which is actually the better part of the documentary,

Intensely private, extremely frugal...resultantly wealthy. Alfred Hawthorne, the son of a condom salesman, became one of the most famous British comedians of all time, enjoying widespread global success. This is his story.

Any jumps in the vid come from 4 cuts that had to be made due to the globally banned use of 'Ernie the fastest milkman in the west'....go figure.

This doc was originally shown on the BBC way back in 2003. Now no longer available on BBC. Dropping this vid in as a gap fill until I finish producing something else - enjoy :)
