The Lena is one of the greatest rivers in Siberia.
Its length is about 4400 kilometers. In terms of length, it ranks eleventh in the world and third, after the Ob and Amur, in Russia.
On the territory of the Lena basin, and its area is 2.5 million square kilometers, France, Spain and all the Eastern European states could easily fit in.
