Trainspotting A, B & C-Series at Leederville, Whitfords & Warwick Pre-Yanchep Line

Recently the Joondalup/Yanchep Line has gotten a lot more exciting, with A-series trains running W patterns every weekday, as well as more and more C-Series services operating on a regular timetable. This means we now have all three types of trains running together on the line, which is definitely not something I would have expected a few months ago. Also, the Yanchep Extension will be opening on the 14th of July, with the line then being renamed to the Yanchep Line. Several preparations have already been made for this including changing train maps, destination boards and platform signage (to pure black for some reason which is a little stupid).

In this video we visit Leederville, Whitfords and Warwick to take a look at some of the changes and see all the Butler signage before it's gone, as well as just do some trainspotting since I haven't really done that since I filmed my station series ages ago and I really feel like doing a bit more of it. Of course, it's a lot more exciting with not just B-series trains running now! Check out the other recent video of the same style for Greenwood, Stirling and Glendalough stations:
