Ryan White always had an interest in cars. His dad was a mechanic, and when Ryan left the military, he knew he wanted to take his own skills to the next level by attending Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Exton, Pennsylvania.

Ryan says he appreciated that UTI immerses students in one subject at a time, where students spend around 3 weeks in a class mastering a topic. Ryan says he was also impressed by UTI's cleanliness and the quality of tools students have access to.

Ryan says the GI Bill was helpful in paying for his education. Now, he works as a professional automotive mechanic at a dealership.

The curriculum at Universal Technical Institute is geared for all students interested in joining today's automotive workforce. Enrolling into UTI does not require previous automotive experience.
