President Boakai Commissions New NOCAL Headquarters

‎President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has officially commissioned the new state-of-the-art headquarters of the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL).
‎
‎The dedication ceremony was held on Friday in Sinkor, Monrovia, where President Boakai commended the management of the state-owned enterprise for what he described as foresight and exemplary leadership in transforming the project from vision to reality.
‎
‎He urged the management to continue demonstrating patriotism, transparency, and fairness in serving the Liberian people, noting that the facility is not only a major hub for hydrocarbon development but also a symbol of urban beautification in the city of Monrovia.
‎
‎Speaking at the event, NOCAL President and Chief Executive Officer Fabian M. Lai expressed gratitude to President Boakai for the confidence placed in him to lead the entity. He reaffirmed his commitment to uphold the principles of good governance and accountability.
‎
‎Also making remarks, the building contractor, BMC Group, through its Chief Executive Officer Hassan Kobeisis, thanked both past and current NOCAL officials for entrusting the company with the construction of the headquarters.
‎
‎The commissioning ceremony brought together senior government officials, including members of the Legislature and the Executive Branch, as well as private sector investors.
