Wedding at Florida Aquarium - Amber & Sean

Sean the groom is a Service Dog Trainer. He met Amber through a mutual friend who was having a welcome party for Sean. Amber showed up and he noticed that she was holding her lower back in pain. They began talking about how he was a martial arts instructor and that tai chi would benefit her. They became good friends and she began taking tai chi lessons as well as karate lessons later on. After a couple of years, having accounting experience, she started working at Sean's karate school. He later sold the school, but they started dating in 2014 and were married in the Coral Reef Room at the Florida Aquarium in May of 2019.

We love shooting in the Coral Reef Room, however it is extremely challenging for Photo & Video. It is absolutely important that you have very skilled professional. It is one of two venues in Tampa where I actually draw up a game plan for the ceremony, that looks like a page in a football playbook. Due to the lighting at the front of the Coral Reef Room being very warm, and the surrounding lighting being very cool, when shooting with multiple cameras we have to carefully set our color settings and change as wedding progresses depending on which direction we are shooting. We use expensive low light cameras so we do not disturb the ambient lighting, or have worry about getting light reflections off the glass. I love the challenge, and eventhough I have shot several weddings in this room, I learn new things each time where I can make adjustments for the future.
