Come along for an incredible day vertical jigging big lake Trout in Quetico Provincial Park. We end up with a 50 fish day, spending all day paddling around and sniping big lake trout chasing schools of cisco over deep water. The weather gods smiled upon us for the last day of the lake trout season; no wind and plenty of sunshine.

This is about as close to "shooting fish in a barrel" as I've ever experienced with lake trout. My eyes are opened to a new method of targeting, almost singling out, larger lake trout feeding over deep basins. The only downside to day two, was running out of our best white and glow tubes, losing a few to fish, and even more to snags.
