Alan Hawkshaw passes away (1937 - 2021) (UK) - BBC News - 17th October 2021

You may not recognise the name or face but chances are you will have heard his musical scores, which have been in many television programs and films for decades. He died yesterday at the age of 84 and his birthday was last March.

Hawkshaw worked extensively for the KPM production music company in the 1950s to the 1970s, composing and recording many stock tracks that have been used extensively in film and TV.
