Environmental equity describes a country, or world, in which no single group or community faces disadvantages in dealing with environmental hazards, disasters, or pollution.

Transitioning to a Green Economy is a big job that requires the cooperation of governments, employers, workers and community leaders in devising concrete plans and policies that will ease the transition.
