Pac Man World: Level 4: HMS Windbag (Boss 1)

Each time you save a friend, you'll find them near the doors of each area in the Ghost Island Hub. All of them them will just tell you to find more friends. However, I forgot to do that with Pooka, here. I take of that in the next video, though!

Moving on, the first boss, the one for the Pirates area, is HMS Windbag, a living, flying pirate ship whose eyes are on his sails.

Part 1 of this fight involves running for your life! Just keep running to the right as much as you can while not falling to your death as Windbag shoots away the ground beneath you!

If you survive this, Part 2 is where the real fight begins. You can't hit Windbag directly. Instead, you must hit the blue switches as they pop up from the ground to release targets that reflect Windbag's cannonballs back at him. You must time this right, or your reflected shots will miss.

He'll also sometimes toss bubbles at you. All but one of the, contain cannonballs to drop on you. Just stay about the bubble containing an Apple, and you'll be find.

This boss doesn't have a health meter, so just keep hitting him with his own attacks, and this freaky-eyed boat will eventually sink and sleep with the fishes.

Since there are no letters in a boss level, you can't do a Bonus Level here. There are no Bonus Mazes to find in a boss level, either. However, you can still sometimes use the slot machine if the boss gives you Bonus Fruit.

Now onward to the Ruins area!
