I bought a fake pair of Salomon XT6. How to legit check

Описание к видео I bought a fake pair of Salomon XT6. How to legit check

I purchased a pair of used salmon xt-6 on Grailed app in the Quarry / Bleached Sand / Cumin color for $115. I figured this was a decent deal considering these were worn and quite hard to find. The seller also had very good feedback so I didn't even think that I would be purchasing a fake pair. I didn't even know they made fakes prior to me researching around on google.

When I finally got them in the mail I was quite happy with how they looked. It wasn't until I went to put them on was when I realized something was off. The tongue material felt very thin. I was able to tell this was off because I own 5 other pairs of xt-6s and when I put them on the first thing I usually do is pull on the tongue. After I walked around a bit in them, I also noticed that the shoes felt different on feet compared to my other pairs. I thought this could have been because the shoe "molded" to the previous owners feet and that they would eventually "remold" to my feet with time so I dismissed this detail.

It wasn't until I went and did a comparison with my other 5 pairs was when I found that the pair I purchased was not real. I decided to make a short video slideshow of the images that show the fake pair and my real pairs (purchased through Salomon's website and other verified boutiques). I hope this helps anyone in the future who wants to know how to do a legit check on fake vs real salomon xt-6s.
