The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon carried out its first-ever airstrike on the Israeli occupation, setting a precedent since the Oct war of 1973. Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the Israeli settlement of Metula through an attack drone armed with two S5 rockets. This marked the first time known time Hezbollah used a drone armed with missiles, rather than explosive-laden drones. Hezbollah has released footage showing what appears to be an Iranian-made HESA Ababil drone armed with two standard S-5 A2S rockets. It is noteworthy that, S-5 is an air-to-surface missile, and does not need any airports and airstrips.
