RAKTAKARABI: A PLATFORM FOR CULTURE & ARTISTIC FERVOR

30 December, 2025: Birbhum is known not only in India, but throughout the world, for her rich, cultural heritage. It is the land of "Rangamati" (crimson soil), Tagore's vision, Spiritual Bauls, colorful tribal culture and richness of natural beauty. Rampurhat, situated in Birbhum district of West Bengal, is considered the cultural capital of the district where the government is trying to create platforms for artists of Birbhum and outside to showcase their talents and earn recognition. One of such platforms is the stage "RAKTAKARABI" which is on the way of completion and very soon it will be open to the people of Rampurhat, Birbhum and West Bengal where they can hold creative and artistic programs, concerts, plays, conferences and gatherings for cultural and intellectual amalgamation. The tigress of Bengal, Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee and her vision is the architect of RAKTAKARABI. Abhishek Banerjee, on the other hand, is the pilot of RAKTAKARABI, who has sincerely and successfully carried out the making of the stage. Chairperson of Rampurhat Municipality, Sri Soumen Bhakat, along with other officers and employees are executing the final finishings of RAKTAKARABI and within a few days it will be open to the public.
