There are few things in life as special as being in a band. I’ve been fortunate through the years to have connected with a lot of really talented people who have helped me grow as a musician and also as a person. That’s not to say being a touring musician isn’t without its curveballs and pressures, but that’s what makes you stronger in the end. I entered the business young, having signed a record deal right as I was starting college. I had to learn how to balance everything fast.

Somewhere down the line, I met John Feldman, the frontman of iconic California punk group Goldfinger. We’ve worked on some awesome projects both in and out of music, and earlier this month he asked me to come out and play drums at two sold-out Goldfinger shows at the House of Blues. It was one of those incredible “full-circle” moments. In this vlog I talk a bit about that experience, and how I’ve learned to balance my musical endeavors with what I do in the business development and entrepreneur space.
