Woodturning - turning a cute Gonk or Norwegian Gnome on the wood lathe

Описание к видео Woodturning - turning a cute Gonk or Norwegian Gnome on the wood lathe

Woodturning a Gonk or Norwegian gnome to give them their proper name, because…..well why not😉
A really fun and fairly easy project, everyone should have a go.
I’ve turned mine from an as yet unidentified log I had lurking in the shop, a piece of sapele off cut and the left over end of an acrylic pen blank for his bobble.
To make it even easier you can buy a complete kit with all the wood and fur you need from ‪@TheTinyTurner‬ Emma Cook, and she has an excellent video showing how it’s done, check it out.
Hope you enjoy.

Turned on my @axminster lathe with Axminster and @robertsorbyengland tools. All finished with @HampshireSheen sealer, wax and oil.
