Traditional Quickstarts have been failing in their promise.

At the outset, we differ in what we think the promise of the Salesforce Quickstarts ought to be. The promise should not merely be to get the system up and running, and add users to it.

The promise needs to be to get users to take to the new system quickly, see immediate value and see the possibilities for doing more with Salesforce.

Sadly that is not the typical outcome from traditional Quickstarts. Instead:

The users see their Salesforce instance as a COOKIE CUTTER and NOT RELEVANT to their business.
The ADOPTION then takes a nose dive.
And most disappointingly for AEs, the system doesn't serve as a FOUNDATION FOR DOING MORE with Salesforce
