We stop by KRISS USA at SHOT Show 2015 during Media Day at the range to test fire the brand new KRISS Vector Gen 2 (V2) carbine, as well as the SMG (Sub Machine Gun) version. We here at TBP have come not only to really love this weapon platform, but also to appreciate the spirit of the team at KRISS USA. The big news for this year is that the KRISS Vector Gen 2 will be coming out not only in their flagship .45 ACP chambering, but will now offer a 9mm version as well. Seeing as how the standard .45 ACP has virtually no muzzle climb and minimal felt recoil, we cannot even imagine how much of a dream the 9mm KRISS Vector will be to shoot. The great news is that the 9mm version will still utilize Glock factory mags... so, the .45 will use Glock 21 mags and the 9mm will use Glock 17 mags. As usual, you can use mag extension kits, or purchase the extended Glock factory magazines for both calibers. A few upgrades/features of the Gen 2 Vector:
9mm and .45 ACP versions
New barrel shroud
New colors (Black, cerakote FDE, and cerakote OD Green)
AR stock adapter
Re-designed safety selector
Textured fore grip and pistol grip
Enhanced pivoting trigger
Interchangeable lower receivers to change caliber
Backwards compatibility.
