Ngorlung Etor Gidi - 2022 || Adi Tribe

Etor Festival is a festival of Fencing celebrated by the Adi Tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. It is celebrated before the start of Paddy Farming every year. The villagers all together fenced around the Paddy field to avoid cattle to enter the farming field so that damages of paddy farming can be controlled. When the fencing around the field is completed, the villagers celebrate Etor Festival/Fencing Festival for three days three night dancing Folk Dance, praying Donyi Polo (Sun & God) for good luck and for the best harvesting of the Paddy Field.
