THE WAR OF THE WORLDS (1953) 4K UHD REVIEW + WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE BLU-RAY & HMV TAG VIDEO UPDATES

Review of the recent 4K release to the 1953 classic The War of the Worlds which comes as one of two discs in a George Pal set that includes the Blu-ray of When Worlds Collide. Both movies have an aspect ratio of 1.33:1 so you have black bars at the sides, War of the Worlds has Digital Theatre System 5.1 sound and When Worlds Collide is a 2.0 mono. Both were original three-strip Technicolor shoots. I also briefly cover the 2005 Steven Spielberg version of War of the Worlds starring Tom Cruise which I think is a pretty good 4K disc release.
Fellow YouTubers are accepting my challenge to get into their local branch of HMV to video for us and I give an update on this towards the end of this video.
