The documentary State of Control will premiere next Tuesday. The film, which is about the arrival of central bank digital money (CBDC) and the advancing surveillance state, comes from the stable of Café Weltschmerz boss Max von Kreyfelt.

“When the commercial banks are out, the central banks get the power to use programmable money with limits on, for example, meat and fuel or the direct collection of taxes by the government, so that any democratic principle disappears,” explains SP MP Mahir Alkaya.

Whistleblower Edward Snowden also speaks in the documentary. “They can freeze your money at any time. Your money is in their hands and we have already seen that people in Canada have been locked out of their bank accounts just because they are protesting.”

State of Control director Benjamin Jonas van den Brink says in conversation with De Andere Krant that there is another agenda playing in the background and that everything ultimately revolves around money and power. “You can see that it is a pattern that has been going on for a long time, large technocratic institutions that respond to crises.”
