Across The Italy | Ep.5 - FLORENCE (& Pisa)

Florence - the capital of Tuscany and one of the most beautiful Italian cities. It is here that you can admire works of architecture such as the mighty Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower (simply Duomo) or see a work of art which is the sculpture of David by Michelangelo.

Florence is also known for being the headquarters of the House of Medici - an Italian banking family and political dynasty that ruled the Republic of Florence under Cosimo de' Medici during the first half of the 15th century. The history of this dynasty became an inspiration for "Medici: Master of Florence" TV series which first premiered in Italy on 18th October 2016. Listening to the song from that series, we will follow in the footsteps of the Medici family, visiting monuments related to them, such as their chapel or Palazzo Vecchio (the town hall of Florence). In this case, if you watched the series, prepare for a little nostalgia trip!

Additionally, we will also visit Pisa where you see the famous Leaning Tower!.
