One of the most common questions I get from dropshippers recently is why did Epacket suddenly become so expensive for US dropshipping, or why some Aliexpress sellers simply stopped offering it as an option.

Yes, COVID had something to do with it, but there is more to it, that fundamentally makes it less competitive compared to other shipping methods.

I discuss a bit about the history of Epacket and the UPU, and why Trump and the US actions last year caused a ~$1.50 increase per package (not per KG) starting in July 2020

Now Epacket is more expensive than special lines like yunexpress (even the express version in some cases), AND of course it's nowhere as good.
